Massive energy gouging has been going on since June 2000 right after CHeney was picked as VP, and only slowed down for awhile after the big California ripoffs, when Jeffords switched parties temporarily giving Dems subpoena powers to investigate Cheney's Energy Task Force. Cheney is at the center of the gouging. Might be difficult to prove, but it's obvious. We also heard Bob Woodward say he overheard Prince Bandar tell GW that he would gladly lower the gas prices before the election if it would help GW. So they can manipulate them and they have and do. There is also a lot of gouging on the health care front.
