Dan Rather was set up by Karl Rove to quash a true story. The evidence may be coming out if these investigations continue into that area. Karl Rove has a history of planting phony evidence and then blaming his opponents. But his real specialty is smear campaigns. Dan Rather was ready to retire anyway, but the real crime here was to sabotage the free press and subvert the truth. Of course Bush uses family connections to stay out of the war. His whole career is one big use of family connections.
