May be an Elliott triangle, but perfect??

Well its not orthodox, but the lines form a perfect symmetrical triangle.

we'd be looking for some whopping gains in the financials.

Indeed, and there are a few financial that look great to me wave-wise. I've already mentioned BAC and JPM. WB is another with a declining wedge off its highs. GS is breaking up out of rising wedge on the weeklies which is a major hound if it does not reverse right away. The KRB weekly chart looks pretty impressive too.

In another sector, the HD weekly shows a clear impulse off the 2005 low which stopped at the previous high, pulled back in the late summer/early fall, and is now moving up again. If a wave 3 is in progress then it projects well into the mid 50's.

The one thing I've notice now is for the first time there are many issues which all look bullish at once. It has been a long time since I've seen that.
