The argument that Clinton thought there were WMD's in 1998 is lame, weak and a cop-out. Bush's war was five years later. Bush-Cheney were the ones who went to war and if those were the real reasons they thought justified war, they should have taken their time to find out of the WMD stories were true. They should have listened to guys like Joe Wilson and Hans Blix. We had the UN inspectors in there. Bushies needed only wait 3 more months or so for a thorough prognosis. But no, they had to run in willy-nilly without a plan and put almost 200,000 Americans over there in harm's way, at the same time giving Osama Bin Lauden the best recruiting tool he could ever dream of. It was a terrible blunder and all the reasons they gave us were BS.
