We have not talked about life plans on the Porch in ages. Anybody got any success stories to tell on their life plans?

John, did you buy anything on that pop going into Friday?

I got burned again.

I went long the ES mini on Thursday morning as it
looked to be turning up but then it came back down
and kept going. Then on Friday the move had begun
already and it put me in a bad frame of mind to be
trading where I look at what I missed instead of what
can be happening. (Working the levers while looking
in back of the train instead of in front.)

I'm going to simply play the calls on those signals of
yours instead. The minis give a lot of leverage but
holding them overnight could be deadly in an
unseen event.

Had I bought the calls instead I would have had
them the following day and not have lost a penny
due to my initial early entry. (Same mistake as
last time.)

What I like about the minis is that there isn't
as much slippage (big gap between the bid and the ask).

Anyhow... learn and adapt...

I'll be ready next time.

It took some balls to continue buying into Thursday's
slide. But then thats why you are where you are.
You take your risks and believe in your system.

Nice job.

Must have been a ton of profit on that trade of yours.
