No, Cheney and Rove outed Valerie Plame. The CIA was so pissed off about it they demanded a special prosecutor to sue the White House about it.

Bush comes from a pro-CIA family but he really betrayed the CIA when he let Cheney bully them and try to shape their intel to falsely justify the rushed invasion and occupation of Iraq, a situation which has turnedinto a major disaster for our country, but a money machine for Halliburton.

Righwing Christian extremists are totally discredited now.
if Bush tries to appease them with a bad SC choice, the filibustering will go on until kingdom come and the American People will support it.

Remember Teri Schiavo, when the religious right were exposed as liars and clear and present dangers to America.

Have you heard that the CIA is actually the source responsible for exposing Plame's covert status?

No, but then I depend on qualified prosecutors like Fitzgerald for my info, not on some windbag like Limbaugh for whom the only way to make a living is by telling stories to bunch of morons.

If you want to know why there was little relief in the Bush administration when only one official, Scooter Libby, was indicted for obstruction of justice, perjury and lying, this history is instructive.

For years in Chicago, because Fitzgerald hadn’t yet accumulated enough evidence, Ryan was referred to in the Illinois case as State Official A.

In the Libby indictment, the same formulation popped up — Official A — but this time, in the White House. Most people assume the title refers to Karl Rove, the president’s key political adviser. Ominously, Fitzgerald refused to say that Rove was out of legal jeopardy, even though he hasn’t been indicted. Yet.

And you know what eventually happened to that "Official A", don't you? Ryan was indicted... by Fitzgerald!
