Hackett would run true to what he feels. He felt Dumbya is a chickenhawk and he called your putrid piece of turd, Dumbya, a stinking chickenhawk.

Fighting Dems - featuring Democratic candidates who would have been to the Iraq war and have come back to fight in the elections here.

[Can you get any "Fighting Yellow Elephants" list? Oops, I am sorry, I forgot -- Yellow Elephants can only piss on their own pants; they can't fight! ;-) ]

1) Two years ago, Bryan Lentz, 41, an attorney, Army reserves major, and former prosecutor from Swarthmore, Pa., signed up for a tour of duty in Iraq. In Mosul, Bryan commanded a unit responsible for rebuilding the local infrastructure.

There, faced with a growing frustration with the Bush administration’s failure to plan effectively for the war and the rebuilding effort – he decided to run for Congress.

2) David Ashe, 36, spent seven years in the Marines, working as a lawyer. In 2003 he was assigned to an infantry battalion in Iraq, serving as the sole coalition legal representative assigned to restore the judicial system in an region which covered about 1/9th of the country.

In the streets of Iraq, David helped drafted a local government charter, train police officers and secure American funds to restore law and order. He also participated in foot patrols in the region to ensure security and Marine presence.

After returning home, he left active duty and is now seeking to serve his country on Capitol Hill. David is determined to unseat first-term Republican Rep. Thelma Drake in Virginia's 2nd District.

3) Lawyer and Marine Corps reservist Paul Hackett, 43, volunteered for an Iraq tour with the 1st Marine division in 2003, serving as a Civil Affairs officer in Ramadi and Fallujah. When he returned home, he was determined to continue serving his country by running for Congress.

This summer, Paul Hackett waged an impressive campaign for Ohio’s 2nd district in a special election - narrowly losing his bid for Congress in a community typically known as a secure Republican stronghold.

Now, Paul Hackett is running for the US Senate in Ohio, looking to take the seat from Mike DeWine.
