The religious right showed their face in Terri Schiavo's case. They proved to the entire country that they are nutty, dangerous, shamelessly dishonest liars and hypocrites. I've heard that the religious right secretly wants abortion to be legal simply because it's their best fundraising tool, that is to send around disgusting photos of aborted late-term fetuses (very rare) and shocking gullible idiots into sending checks to "save the babies". Animal rightds extremists use the same tactics. No difference except if you take away abortion rights you take away womens rights and the vast majority of Americans are for keeping abortions safe, legal and rare. The best way is with RU-486 which ther eligious right opposed because it takes away their abortion issue.
