Not even the GOP wants abortions to be illegal and unsafe. If they overturned Roe they'd be voted out of power for decades. Plus, if you're for taking away womens reproductive rights, then how'd you like women to decide what you can do with your penis, how and when you can do it? For instance, what if women were to outlaw jerking the gherkin and you got caught and arrested. If you have a gherkin, that is, many on the far right seeming so prudish and dickless. The best way to make abortions all but obsolete is to fight for more RU-486 and birth control/sex education. No other plan works. criminalizing womens right to choose would be a disasterous thing. It is also not what the far right want because it would take away their #1 fundraising trick. Abstinence Only has been a total failure.
