yeah- you're preaching to the chior.
I just think Reagan had the courage to break up some of the unions which really needed to be done. I am not against unions btw. But in the 70s, in California, it is absolutely true that grocery store checkers were making more than engineers in many disciplines, they were constantly going on strike, it was amazing. An entrepreneurial climate really suffers with this.

The new democrats, which Clinton was, seem to be able to balance business needs and public responsibility.

Speaking of unions though, Walmart is being raked over the coals over this damning memo from their HR VP about healthcare costs. What a scourge on our society that company is! I hope walmart is forced to unionize. I'm fed up with walmart.
