"I'd like to hear one single f***ng thing that the Chimp's administration has done to make life better for the American middle class and the poor." This is why the Bush administration and the Republicans aren't Christians. Most of the social purpose of Christianity is the help for those less fortunate which absolutely positively includes the poor. Republicans are against the poor, not in the sense that they wish to see poverty abolished but in the sense that they feel the poor are derelicts, idiots, wastrels and generally subhuman. Republicans are subhuman but, then, they know that in their heart of hearts which is why they're so nasty and violent. Jesus would not recognize his movement and would be absolutely positively distraught that the blow-dried, gas-guzzling, tax money thieving, war mongering Republicans are using his image to further their unchristian ends. Americans do see what is going on because in poll after poll they dislike Bush and the Republicans less. There's the occasional spike when the security mom gets easily frightened by a bomb scare but that's about it. Americans understand but they don't vote. Therein lies the problem. Republicans are organized and they use the dirtiest tactics known to politicos: racism, bigotry, homophobia, misogyny. They have to use these tactics because, if they told the truth, they wouldn't have any votes from anyone but themselves. Republicans are the minority and they KNOW IT.
