re: They are the only ones besides the American public that can keep the debate honest. I hope this will teach the news media a lesson they won't soon forget. They stopped being what they were supposed to be at an important hour. I listen to either Rush or Democracy Now! on my drive home for lunch... pretty compelling stuff regardless of what you agree with or don't agree with. At least they are exploring and interpreting the news, getting in depth. When I get home I flip on CNN, and the contrast is dramatic. It's like news by press release. Completely sanitized so as not to offend anyone. Just perfect hair and smiley faces... and that's where most people get their news, assuming they get any at all. John
