"Does anyone know if S. Baptist ministers stand in the water when baptizing some one?" Southern Baptists baptize by total immersion, none of this wimpy sprinkling of a few drops... Are they in the water with the people? They must be because the Waco minister got electrocuted and died. He was trying to adjust the mike near the baptismal. The minister in my church never gets in the water with the people. He lets the people go into the water and get electrocuted, not himself! I think its a much better arrangement for the minister. <g> ted
