No, I think the folks there know that the French helped us beat the British. I want to look at some of the pension papers from Yorktown soldiers and to see if there were any particular comments about several things. There are a couple of books that I can think of that have the stories of the battles as told by the participants ....one is the one I mentioned the other day..."The Revolution Remembered," edited by John C. Dann, and the other is "The Spirit of '76," edited by Henry Steele Commager and Richard B. Morris.
