You are looking at whatever and spinning an interpretation to support your beliefs.

I am looking at the actions and the doctrine and I see no conflict. I see individuals who lied and betrayed and then lied and betrayed again. Never did the Church doctrine not condemn the actions of the betrayers.

You simply cannot comprehend the meaning of the action of Christ who forgave those who tortured and killed Him.
