I think like the Nazis, the Neocons really didn't care what the underlying philosophy of the party they rode to power was. Scoop Jackson didn't get the Dem nomination, so they changed horses. All that mattered to them was getting the power to enact the policies they spelled out in the Project for the New American Century, accomplished in the Bush admin The project is STILL ongoing! newamericancentury.org Realities in Iraq may have set these guys back a little and slowed them down, but they haven't quit. It may just be paranoia, but these guy's ties to Israel bother me greatly. They make no secret of their plans or plots, however you choose to regard them. Although I don't agree with them, I don't see a lot of other people putting out such long term agendas.
