With CSC being a buyout candidate, I wondered if Dell made a mistake avoiding the IT and Service end.
This chart says it is not so.

In fact Dell still looks like viable company , using only 50k people vs 117k at CSC.
The fewer people involved, the easier it is to increase efficiency.
Its just that the entire market is a trading platform when it once was useable as buy and hold.

The churn ( shares traded) is so great today that with everyone taking a little piece of the equity as it trades, the value of any stock will get eaten away unless the public adds more money by buying shares.
