"Worst President in my lifetime was LBJ."

I was no fan of LBJ. He tried to enslave me and send me to Vietnam.

Then, I worked in his Presidential Library in Austin and learned some things about him. If not for the Vietnam War, and that's a HUGE "if", LBJ might be regarded as one of our great Presidents. Black people owe him big thanks for his equal rights initiatives, that wouldn't have happened without him. Although Kennedy started NASA, it was LBJ that made it all happen. We'd have never walked on the moon if not for him, and that may be all people remember us for in 1000 years, along with the A bomb.

He also had some social programs that didn't accomplish much. But he was hardly our "worst" President. What's Bush accomplished? Tax cuts?
