Unfortunately we've probably sped up the process of those corrupt regimes being toppled by Islamic militants with our adventure in the ME. Even though those corrupt regimes are poorly run, they probably understand the problems of running their countries better that we do- and unless the US is interested in invading the entire ME, there is very little we can actually do about this.
