Fitzgerald may have decided that these five charges are easier to prove at this point in time than whether or not Libbey knew that Valerie was undercover at the time at that point, which he should have. Other indictments could be issued, against Libbey and/or others, as the investigation continues. Highly unlikely. Yes, it is possible - he refused to slam the door on it as any good prosecutor would. But that is not the way this stuff happens. There is very little chance of any further allegations coming out of this. If an indictment were coming, we'd have seen it. It suggests no such thing. For an experienced attorney to do this is a crime of stupidity if nothing else -- just amazing. But Fitz. made it pretty clear that's all he has. I believe Fitz. did an excellent job and was, at all times, impressive in his demeanor. A total professional. But if he had anything on Rove you would have seen it.
