I never said they couldn't regulate MGs, I said that the Federal Government can't BAN possession of MGs via 922(o).

Here is your apparant (flawed) line of reasoning.

1. Machine guns need to be regulated
2. If they are not regulated, terrorists can freely buy them

The problem of course is that machine guns are still firearms subject to all the same provisions that apply to handguns, shotguns and rifles, under the Gun Control Act of 1968. That's the part you just don't get.

What does this mean? It means that convicted felons and non resident aliens are NOT allowed to be in possession of any firearms including machine guns, if there are NO additional regulations on machine guns.
