Impeachment should be reserved for real crimes, or at least lying about really important issues. What Clinton did was an embarrassment, nothing more. It didn't hurt anyone except himself. In fact, his sex life never should have been investigated to begin with. It embarrassed the nation. What is shaping up now is that Bush-Cheney and Company deliberately misled the nation into war, doctored and fabricated intel, smeared critics, deliberately outed a CIA agent out of political revenge and rushed us into Iraq based on a bunch of scare tactics and wild exggerations. Worst of all, they were so inept in their war-planning that once we controlled Iraq we had no plan what to do next. Outrageous. There are also huge Bushie crimes involving energy gouging, election fraud and corruption in congress. DElay, Frist and Abramoff are all facing trials on the latter. The big ones we need to investigate are the Diebold machines and the energy gouging.

Ted, For years, I have said lying about a BJ is nothing. Then why did Clinton do it? Will you finally admit that Clinton is guilty of just being plain stupid? Why does it matter to you what his motivation was? Sex is not a matter of state. As for admitting that it was stupid, I admitted that a long time ago. It was a self descructive act of a man who is unhappy. As one human to another, it only makes me feel sorry for him. But again, lying about a BJ is nothing. Howeve, you all have insisted vehemently it was a cardinal sin. So why aren't you screaming about Scooter?

Clinton was very stupid. First, by thinking that a groupie like Monica would be discreet about servicing the President of the United States. To tell people is WHY they do it! Then, by lying about it. As a supporter, I was very ashamed of and for him. I'd assumed he was much smarter than that, but like a lot of men, the brain in his dick is much smaller! The attack on him for it was WAY out of proportion, and all America saw that. That's why we still love him. If the Republicans had just let the facts comdemn him, we might not. They turned him into a martyr against prudery, and the chief inquisitor, Newtie, had the SAME feet of clay.
