I have taken note how you are playing this market with bear put spreads and considered something similar myself. However I am coming to the conclusion that maybe going long both puts and calls might make more sense. Buying ITM Jan06 calls and pair them up with ITM Mar06 puts may be the right play. I am thinking this market isn't going to stay at this level for very long. Will either run up the flagpole into the end of the year and then fall OR we go down right here.

If they close this week higher with the cubes and the banks leading the spiders I'd like to put this trade on. Any thoughts?
