Nope it's $200 to perform a transfer of a pre-1986 registered, transferable machine gun. It's a one-time tax. Unless you're a SOT, or in law enforcement, there is no way to register a machine gun manufactured or imported after May 1986 period.

FFL 07/SOT 2 dealers in machine guns have to pay a Special Occupational Taxpayer Tax of $500 a year if they are a low volume business. However to be a FFL 07/SOT 2 you have to be actively in the BUSINESS of dealing in machine guns and other NFA weapons. There are reams and reams and reams of requirements on such dealers.
