The crap about "B*tching and Moaning" demoralizing the troops is pretty ridiculous, though.

Then I guess you don't know what motivates a soldier (at least the hardcore infantry type who do most of the fighting)..

They want to WIN!! And they want to know that the American people want them to win.. They last thing they want is to be taken "out of the game" because some of the "fans" might be leaving early..

They're going to stick it out because they SEE the threat..

And most of all, EVERYDAY they are fighting the same enemy who planned, funded, and executed 9/11.

And we should support them in this, and not lose sight that the enemy is Al Qai'da and their affiliated organizations and leadership...

Yeah.. maybe the battlefield today is in Iraq.. But tomorrow it might be Somalia, Sudan, or Kenya, or even Syria or Saudi Arabia.

This government in Iraq, by all international standards, is legitimate, regardless of whether US forces are here or not.

My hope is that it stays that way... But if not, it had better not be a govermennt that aids and abets Al Qai'da..
