My 89-year old father-in-law lives in Fort Lauderdale. He has been without electricity, telephone and water since Wilma blasted through. He says most stores and gas stations are still closed due to lack of power.

I live in S FL, and much of it is back already. The storm hit one week ago. That data is not part of the numbers. In fact, prior to the storm, folks were going crazy at the gas stations filling up in anticipation with lots of lines. The data shows a decline for several weeks preceding the storm. JMVHO.
