Kerry arrived in a hybrid car last time I saw him. The SUV's he had were for his campaign entourage and the Secret Service. Those vehicles are mandatory in those cases. Kerry doesn't personally own any SUV's. In fact I peeked into Kerry's driveway on Nantucket and saw no SUV's. No vehicles at all were parked there. Kerry was out of town at the time. Kerry is a very strong proonent for increased fuel efficiency, cleaner fuels, getting off Arab oil altogether and thinking and planning ahead . Bush-Cheney are cronies of big oil and the gas guzzler industry. They even allow tax breaks for Humvees. Bill O'Reilly often speaks out against Bushies on this subject.
