Mother knows best. So Alito cannot claim to be unbiased. Also, his ruling to make it mandatory to alert a woman's husband ignores a woman's rights to choose. Of course if the married couple is together it would be a mutual decision, but there are many instances where a woman doesn't want her husband to know, for instance if she got knocked up by another guy. Or if the husband were an anti-abortion zealot with a violent streak.

Why doesn't Alito make it illegal for a man to not tell his wife if he knocks up his mistress or girlfriend? same deal. Unfair sexist decision.
