Re: QCOM earnings / FY06 guidance – Consensus 05Q4 $0.33 05FY $1.17 06Q1 $0.35 06FY $1.45 24% inc from FY05 With the latest “upbeat” BOA handset forecast, one would hope that bodes well for a strong Q FY06 projection. However, perhaps the Q’s conservative tone (under promise / over deliver) would be more practical given- + Last years need to lower forecasts + The current consensus already has a 24% increase baked in + The current climate, no need to be over emphasizing future supremacy.
