This is the only instance of such a thing that I could find and it had nothing to do with gay culture. It was a silly tradition that grew out Sadie Hawkins day. A few uptight parents got it stopped. One even compared it to drugs. "A little here and a little there and you're hooked." To each there own, but I call that paranoid.

Oh, I see what they were doing, my bad. There's plenty of other less radical ways of promoting cross sexual understanding that would be much more appropriate.
