If I, as a woman, come out against freedom for women, I think NOW could reasonably question my commitment to women's issues, and to women in general. I think you're conflating divergence from the party line with being a traitor to the group. If woman comes out against freedom for women, sure. But if that woman thinks Plan B is the better approach to freedom for woman as opposed to Plan A, which is being advocated by NOW, she's not a traitor to her sex. You're assuming that the group leadership is right and it may not be.
