DeLay is looking to do anything he can to paint this case as strictly partisan. His lawyer is trying to make some creative interpretation of the law and that judge wouldn't go along with it. So try to get rid of him and maybe the new guy will go for it. If that doesn't work, try for a change of venue and maybe it will work there...

Jury selection sounds like it is going to be real fun if this is any indication.

This isn't the real danger to DeLay anyway. It is just marking time until DeLay gets sucked into the Abramhoff case. That one is dynamite.
