I saw that interview. Carter held his own against an onslaught of unfriendly questioning from Matt Lauer. Carter also said that Bush has acted counter to the policies, be they republican or democrat, of the past 100 years! One hundred years of positive progress undone by this doofus.

Yes he has at times.. When you have the POWER of the ex-presidency behind you and you are a decent man, which I think Carter is, You should be out there all the time.. That said, he is doing a great job as an American ambassador now, Hab for Humanity, African work etc.. Even Bush jumped on that HFH bandwagon as a photo-op.. Ughs of Lss..I bet Bush never even heard of it before that..

Another that is slowly gaining a little of my respect is Nancy Reagan..
