I meant elected to a national post, like Representative or Senator. The Dems have them, have had them for YEARS. The Repugnicans had ONE, J.C. Watts, but he got tired of being a photo-op prop who was never given any real power and quit. NOW, they have NONE! The SHAME! The Republicans control the entire government without ONE representative elected from the black minority! It REALLY SHOWED in New Orleans. Republicans don't care about blacks. For them, blacks are just a source of cheap labor to be exploited, nothing more. They may have had more representation when their "massa" could used their 3/5th's of a vote for their benefit.
