believe me I am not defending Vietnam, or LBJ for sure. But those who support Bush amaze me here. The man is just an idiot for committing us into that Iraq mess and it was he alone who pushed for it (Congress was also to blame for rolling over). Most wars have a complicated set of decisions that get made that push the nation into it. Not this war, this was just Bush making up his smallish mind that he wanted to yell "yahoo" or something. The thing is, I don't have much sympathy for supporters of the war now. Anybody who lets their kid fight there is a fool. There is no sense acting like it is a noble cause, it is not.
