It's better to use facts:
1) Prior to the invasion there was one terrorist in Iraq.
2) After the invasion there are many terrorists all over Iraq.
3) Invasion creates terrorism.

Iraq was already a haven and training ground for terrorists. The murderers of Lawrence Foley were dispatched from Iraq, for example.
