After 5 years of GOP duplicity, I am tired of waiting for something good to happen. Been down this road of "wait for it to happen" too many times. One of the weaknesses of those of us opposed to Bush is the devout optimism that surely, sooner or later, the nightmare will be interrupted. Fitzgerald is the current hope, but to date, with a lot of discovery accomplished, he has only indicted a third level, designated "fall person" on secondary charges. In the final analysis, he is still a tool of the Bush administration Justice department and we need to stay vigilant against a whitewash, which is, in fact, the work product so far.
