2000 dead and 10,000 maimed Americans plus over 200 billion dollars and stuck in a quagmire with no end in sight and more US casualties now than at almost any time before.

Saddam Hussein was a toothless old tiger who had nothing to do with Al Qaida and had no WMD. He was taken out of power in a matter of days. He could have been driven into a bunker and kept there like a prisoner. There was no need to invade Iraq especially in the rushed way we did without a plan or a real reason.

Also notice, Bush's first priority when invading wasn't to secure weapons dumps. Thousands of tons of explosives were filched by insurgents. His priority was to grab the oil and oil ministry. He didn't even guard the antiquities museum or the banks. It was about oil. These Texas thieves have oil on the brains and as a result we are paying 75% more for it.
