Yes, I agree! Otherwise, Dumbya would have been impeached the day he threw the PDB titled "bin Laden determined to attack United States" into the wastepaper basket...

Read the law. It's quite vague. The founders deliberately wanted a lot of slack in it, to allow the House to determine what a "high crime and misdemeanor" IS. The founders couldn't predict what might be the national need calling for impeachment in the future, so they didn't spell it out. Incompetence might not be a crime on the books, but in the office of President, it might very well be. The House gets to call it. The Senate gets to confirm it. Impeachment is a POLITICAL process.

I'd say incompetence demonstrated over five years was just an impeachable high misdemeanor, but that's just ME!

Bush's impeachment will be for far more important issues. Simply need the investigations to proceed and all the evidence wil be piled up, how much and when did Bush know about the fabrications to take us to war, the energy gouging, the election fraud in 2000 and 2004, at least a half dozen phony terrorist alerts and the protection of top Saudis and Bin Laudens by our government.

We can start there.
