Yes, his speech and body language communicated that he was very uncomfortable and guarded. He is a bright man and being sohe realized the transparancy of his statements. That made Bill Clinton a superior liar. He considered everyone listening to be dumb enough to believe him and it worked for many...certainly worked for him.

Fitz had a hard time keeping composure while speaking what he knows to be a crock of shit. Why he did it is another story. Possibly a career move, pride ...who knows, but he did give the appearance of someone the was whistling past the graveyard during his delivery.
