Deep enough to obscure the fact that if you are correct above, you were dead wrong about the reason the number went from 3 to 1. The general agreed that Iraqi troop strength only got better, despite the apparent discrepancy. He specifically spoke to the issue and explained by describing an evaluation process that was clarified, which clarification resulted in the lowered number. You can't change it. You can't escape it. Your only failing is in your ability to understand and accept it for the real statement from the general that it is. Dan B.
