More Corruption From the Delay Camp Exposed This Abramoff trial is actually more damaging to Delay that the Texas trial. Ironically, they used gambling interests as their slush fund kitty, dipping into it whenever they wanted. I say ironic, because Delay poses as a devout Christian, but he's about as amoral as they come. msnbc.msn.com All these trials and scandals are basically the law finally catching up to the Bushies 2000-2004 crimes, lies and abuses of power. It was their strategy to cover-up everything until after the 2004 election, but they couldn't cover up forever.
