LOL. I like that idea. Bush can take a sledgehammer to his 'popularity' and get to the 20s. His 'strong support' is only about 20% now and, I heard, that the latest polls have him down to 37% approval. I also heard that Cheney is about half as popular as Bush. LOL. Added together they might get to Clinton's rating....during impeachment. ROTFLMAO. The Dem strategy, also adopted by some embarrassed Republicans is to get George to clean house NOW. At that point does Scooter throw in the towel, refuse to be the only one taking the fall and roll over on the entire WHIG for a deal? Heck, rightwingers are already saying: it's just one guy, it's just that Libby dude. There's always one in every basket...so what?
