All of Arnold's props 73-78 NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!! This whole "special election" is bs IMHO. Running a state by propositions is insane. I have to have a really good reason to vote "yes" on a proposition as I disagree with the fundamental principle. The parental notification is chipping away at abortion rights. The teacher tenure is ridiculous, there is nothing wrong with the way things are now. 75 is just beginings of union busting. Actually they do have to do with real estate as teacher and union jobs have typically been jobs associated with the backbone of the middle class. Arnold is one big fraud. Arnold is going after teachers, nurses and other union members makes me want to puke! Pretty much everyone I come into contact with loves to express how much they hate Arnold--that includes working class people and professionals. One of my best friend's law practice has been destroyed by Arnold and has had a devastating effect on his family.

77- I don't know, I'm leaning for it. Gerrymandering has happened in a few states now, Texas being the most severe and it has happened as a result of the entrenched politicians plus voters, "voting it in".

I'm interested in alternative opinions though. I just think there is more chance of fairness from judges than the entrenched system?

One hugely funny thing is the ads against 77, has anyone noticed... a bunch of "sneaky looking" judges cutting up a CA map and turning it into TEXAS! LOL. That has a lot of negative appeal right now

<How are you voting on the Nov 8th election?>

I'm a UK citizen, but wife voted NO on everything and I agree with that. The initiative process should be reserved for the expression of genuine surges of public opinion, and none of these propositions meet that test. They're all, in some way, manipulative attempts by specific interests to get their agenda advanced.

Anecdotal info (wife chatting to a bunch of women at a quilting class) suggests that many voters feel similarly used. To back that up, the latest Field poll suggests "NO on everything" is likely to be the actual result, also.
