How would Hawkie know? He's a highly compensated Soldier of Fortune mercenary, he doesn't hang with the actual troops. He probably gets HIS skivvies at Fredrick's of Bahgdad!

Excuse me, I don't mean to pry into your privacy. But could you confirm or deny that there is a shortage of underwear for our military in Iraq and/or Afghanistan? LOL!!! That's nothing I've seen in short support since I've been here.. Beer, yes... Underwear?? NO... Baby Wipes? There have only been a few times that I haven't been able to find them.. and generally because soldiers hoard the things because they don't know when they'll be getting to the PX again.. They are a gods-end when your in the field.. I always carry some with me.. usually in a fanny pack.. But let me think.. I have been trying to find the last season of Farscape (the Peacekeeper Wars).. I mangaged to get all of the other seasons last year at the PX in Baghdad.. But to be honest.. unless you're in a FOB like Al Qa'im, with relatively few luxuries due to its size.. a soldier should have no excuse for not getting what they need.. Hell, we have Pizza Hut, Burger King.. Green Beans Coffee.. and yes.. a Cinnabon.. After all, most of the large concentrations of soldiers are in the Baghdad, Mosul, and Kirkuk areas.. Not out in the boonies. Hawk
