I notice you are very sensitive to intentions... When levers of power are created, sooner or later the evil ones show up and grab hold of them.

I was not suggesting that increasing the power of government on behalf of the little guy was better in any way than increasing it on behalf of the big guy.

I was solely addressing LB's application of the term "fascist." Sensitivity to nuance, be it intentions or something else, is relevant in choosing labels. Fascism applies to the right, not the left. Just as communism applies to the left, not the right. Each is authoritarian/totalitarian in a way that compromises free business, but they are different enough to demand different labels. If LB wants a label that covers both sides in this, perhaps "economic totalitarian" or simply "totalitarian" given the social authoritarian aspect of fascism, which BTW is distinctly right in nature.

LB's just trying to provoke JohnM, anyway.
