OT - we should probably move this to the organic and health food coffee board but thanks Jill - for both the compliment <blush> and the advice.

I actually have been a "health food nut," probably one of Whole Foods first customers, although they were Bread & Circus here. At that time, they were often 2x price of traditional markets. Now, it's pretty close, except for coupons, etc.

I follow your advice but sometimes the conflicting stuff in the press gets to you. Organic meat, poultry, and yes, wild caught fish lots of veges and fruit, grains, etc. Hope to learn to make my own bread at some point as I was amazed at the amount of sodium in the typical loaf of bread, even organic bread.

The soy thing is interesting given the extent that the Japanese use it and apparently have much better cardio-vascular records than we, but I suspect it's impossible to compare until they get 40% of their protein from restaurant and fast food sources as we do.

I haven't tried almond or rice milk. Will give that a try.

Just ordered the MegaFlax stuff - Omega 3.

Thanks again!!
