"I'm not sure what you mean by the statement up above." DeLay's defense so far has been because he is successful, the Democrats hate him. Because they hate him, this trial is just a partisan attack. And, apparently, anyone who has donated money to the Democratic party, voted for a Democrat, lives next door to a Democrat, shares this same blind hatred... I see.......his defense is kind of like the ABB argument. So then, his opponents took his defense and turned it back on him when they requested a judge who is less GOP. Right? It seems the Dems are getting more clever and learning to use the system to their advantage. Good!
