As always brational, I thoroughly enjoy your quarterly summations of QCOM's results. 99% of the brokerage houses can't find their asses with a map when talking about QCOM, yet your reviews are short, sweet, and to the point.

Thanks!

<It was interesting to hear CEO Paul Jacobs state that “QCOM no longer just a CDMA company”.>

Since thought precedes action, and action precedes results, I dare say he meant more what they are thinking and where they are going, than where they have arrived.

This is his first annual report so I guess he's wanting to explain where he's steering the company and to make his own mark, rather than just roll out CDMA.

I still wonder what the heck BREW will do. As you say, it's a trickle, but as the GSM world found, CDMA was just a trickle but turned to a torrent. What matters is the underpinning technology and trends which will determine the outcome.

So far, I've been very underawed by the BREW offerings. I suppose offerings and revenue will improve as processing power, memory, screens and costs swing more in favour of downloading applications when wanted, and security and convenience dictate using such a service, and millions of people start wanting cyberphones.

Thanks for your review.
