Women are half the country of Iraq despite what the US military puts forth (hardly any discussion of the plight of the women in Iraq post-invasion). How can anybody defend this. The women "raped by the baathists" were how much of the population there? Vs. the prospect of being unable to educate any female child. God, get some perspective, when Iraq goes down to a Vietnam-ish sentiment, where americans are embarrassed to admit we went there and distrustful of any vet, people like you will be dumbfounded as to why. Good response. Before wives of men who openly spoke against hussein were at risk. Now 100% of them are. The neonuts have no case here. Mish
